High praise heaped on FORE’s January MDPs

The “interactive approach” and “good faculty” involved in the ‘Improving Interpersonal Skills at Workplace’ MDP held on January 17th and 18thunder the direction of Prof. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya and Prof. Anita Tripathy Lal impressed many including Kushagra Raghuvanshi of Gujarat State Petronet Ltd.

And Sammita Sachdev of the Bank of Baroda said, “The course content was very well designed - sessions were participative and interactive.”

“The presentation by Prof. Vinay Dutta was simply outstanding in all sessions”, said Amitava Bhardhan Roy of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, in regard to the MDP titled ‘Finance for Non-Finance Executives’ held from January 23rd to 25th, while the teaching and mode of expressions on fundamental concepts were found to be “very excellent” and “heart touching” and “most interesting” by Bipin Bihari Nanda of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd.

The ‘Building Competencies for Leadership Roles’ session held from January 28th to 30th under the direction of Prof. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya and Prof. Neeraj Kumar won more praise, with J. L. Arora of the UCO Bank saying, “The programme as a whole will definitely help us sharpen our leadership skills, which will help us as well as our organisation.”

“The method of teaching and the enthusiasm of the faculty is excellent and felt very good”, added P. Murlimohan of Gujarat Heavy Chemical Limited.

The management development programme on ‘Decision Making Techniques for Managers’, held from January 31st to February 1st under the direction of Prof. Hitesh Arora, “was well prepared, presentable, lively and open for interactions,” said Dinesh Mehta of Bank of Baroda, adding that it was “positive in approach,” while Chetan Gupta of Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. had praise for the “well-prepared presentations” and Sudhanshu Mishra of Dr. Willmar Schwabe India said, “Overall, it was a good session to learn new methods of a mathematical way of dealing with problems through the tool of Excel.”

In total, four Management Development Programmes were held by FORE School of Management in January, 2013.
