About Us

The recent, transnational flow of people, financial resources, goods, information and culture have proved to be challenging for both societies and organizations to understand cultural implications of these flows in hopes for better interaction with other cultures and more efficient management of international organizations. It is strongly advocated that achieving success in this competitive and complex business ecosystem, is closely tied to the ability of employees and managers to navigate through different cultural nuances and communicate effectively with myriad and diverse stakeholders. Communication is essential in all areas of business, from client relationships to branding and from team-building to productivity and efficiency. Direct, comprehensible and coherent communication in today’s multifaceted environment, is necessary to drive the success of an organization. The Communication Area at FORE School of Management is defined by its commitment to both students and corporate to learn the importance of global communication and implementing effective communications policies that are key to helping a global organization thrive in this new ecosystem. They provide them deeper understanding of basic communication processes like nonverbal communication, perception, and listening, as well as communication in various contexts including interpersonal, group, intercultural, and media communication and help them manage their own cross-cultural behaviour as well as that of others.

The Communication faculty, with their rich and diverse expertise in the communication domain, have been consistently and substantially contributing towards designing and conducting customised MDPs and W/S for organizations including both the public and private sectors. As supported by their vast experience and knowledge in the fields of Communication, the faculty has been conducting training programmes on varied communication topics like Management Communication, Leadership Communication Skills; Communication on Digital platform; Assertive Skills, Intra-Interpersonal Communication; Oral and Presentation Skills, gender Communication to name a few. The Communication faculty enjoys a great reputation and credibility in both the academic and corporate world since they are always in demand for their professional services be it at IIMs; Delhi University; Thapar Univ.; IMT, ONGC; MITSUI; Relaxo Pvt. Ltd.; to name a few.

International Project

The Communication Area has lately been conducting tele collaboration project with Cracow University, Poland for IMG students. The main idea of the project is to create learning environment facilitating the understanding the problems of cross-cultural communication. The participation in international teams and work on common tasks will help to develop the attitudes of cooperation and sensitivity to cultural differences.
