FORE School of Management achieved stellar placements for the batch of 2014-15 in record time. The batch comprised 228 students from the two full time AICTE approved post graduate programs, PGDM and PGDM-IB. This year witnessed 121 companies visiting FORE to hire best talent. Top recruiters included Cognizant, Deloitte, Infosys Technologies, KPMG and ICICI Bank. This year’s placement also included multiple International offers.

 

 

 

Placement Trend: This year, in line with the past year, (i) the placements of Female students were better than placements of Male students (~ 5 % difference in CTC), (ii) the Non Engineering Graduates secured marginally better salaries than Engineering Graduates and (iii) there was hardly any difference between the placements of PGDM Batch and PGDM - IB Batch.

IT/ ITes : IT majors such as Wipro Technologies, Dell, Infosys Technologies, HCL Technologies, Cognizant, TCS, Newgen Software, Zycus Infotech, Axis Softech, Genpact, Sapient offered Business Development, Business Analytics, Sales & Consulting roles. Banking & Financial Services: The batch picked up offers from top league financial players that included ICICI Bank, Darashaw, State Bank of India, Central Bank of India, L & T Finance, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Magma Fincorp, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Kotak Securities, GE SBI cards and Hero Fincorp.

 

 

 

 

 

Marketing & Operations: This year witnessed some of the top FMCG, Automobile, Consumer Durables & Telecom companies made offers in marketing & operations area. Recruiters included Asian Paints, Hero Motor Corp, Café Coffee day, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata Motors, Orient Electric, United Biscuits, Maruti Suzuki, Videocon Industries, Blue Dart, Reliance Broadcast, British Telecom, Idea ,Voltas, United Breweries and Samsung India.

 

 

 

 

 

Industry Sector and Placements: Most of the companies that came were from Consulting, IT/ ITES and BFSI sectors. The spread of companies and Industry Sector is given below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nature of Job and Placements: Going by the nature of jobs, most jobs were in Consulting, IT & Marketing followed by Finance, Operations & HR. Further details are given in the graph below.
