Computer Center

• The Computer Center at FORE School of Management boasts state-of-the-art computing facilities for students, faculty, and departments. It is equipped with branded PCs and laptops, along with DELL and HP servers connected via Ethernet LAN. The center has a 1500 Mbps dedicated leased line on fiber optics to ensure seamless Internet connectivity.
• Application Software: Includes IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0, AMOS, Markstrat, Digital MediaPro Simulation Software, PaperCut, MS-Project, R, R Studio, MS SQL Server, and more.
• Network Security:
  • FortiGate 200G firewall protects the entire network, with features like Antivirus, Anti-Spam, Bandwidth Management, and Auto Fail-over across multiple gateways.
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection ensures all nodes are safeguarded from viruses, spyware, and malware, centrally monitored from the antivirus server.
• Online Conferencing Tools: Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet are available for online meetings, webinars, and classes.
• Printing & Scanning: High-speed Color/Mono LaserJet Network printers and scanners.

Wi-Fi and Networking

• The entire campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with Ruckus wireless, using ZoneFlex R610 dual-band smart Wi-Fi access points managed by ZoneDirector 1200.

Email and Communication

• Each student, faculty member, and staff member is provided with a personalized email ID on the fsm.ac.in domain.
• G Suite for Education (formerly Google Apps for Education) offers web-based messaging and collaboration tools, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and other Google applications.

Campus Management System

• An enhanced Campus Management System is available at https://student.fsm.ac.in, https://ecampus.fsm.ac.in and https://parents.fsm.ac.in to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff and parents.

Classroom & Lab Facilities

• Classroom:
  • Modern smart classrooms equipped with interactive flat panels, fostering an engaging and collaborative learning environment.
  • Three classrooms are equipped with 180 high-end configuration desktops.
  • Five modern hybrid classrooms (Two-Way Interactive Classrooms) enable simultaneous in-person and remote learning.
• Computer Lab: Equipped with 55 high-performance computers with the latest software tools, supporting academic and research activities such as programming, data analysis, and simulations.
• AI Lab: A dedicated Artificial Intelligence Lab with 37 high-end systems featuring advanced processors and GPUs for AI, machine learning, and data science. The lab fosters innovation, experimentation, and collaboration.
• Language Laboratory:
  • Standalone Language Lab equipped with interactive English software and headsets with microphones.
  • Tools support listening, speaking, reading, writing, classroom grading, and placement skill development.

IT Resources

• The computer center has 9 branded servers, 500+ desktops and laptops, scanners, standalone/network LaserJet printers, and Network Attached Storage for data and application backups.
• The entire campus is connected via cabled and wireless LAN (Heterogeneous OS).
• Fully secured Wi-Fi with Firewall, Antivirus & Antispam.
• 1500 Mbps bandwidth from service providers via dedicated leased line.
• Open-source software for online learning (Moodle) and Capstone Business Simulation Software.
• Database packages like SQL Server and MySQL are supported.

Timings of Computer Center:
Monday to Saturday: 8.00 AM to 9.00 PM (Sunday off)
The Computer Center will remain closed on all public holidays and other declared holidays.
