Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) is a Center of Excellence established at FORE School of Management, with a vision to shape innovative solutions to address the challenges of Sustainable Development to business and society.
Headed by Prof. Shallini Taneja, CSD works with corporates, think tanks, chambers of commerce & industry, government, and non-government organizations to undertake research, training, round-table conferences, creating knowledge product as well as undertaking baseline and impact assessment studies in the area of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development in a holistic manner.
CSD actively promotes and enhances public awareness about the various aspects of sustainable development and social responsibility not only among their student community but also through the sharing platforms with other stakeholders.

Seminar on Stress Management: CSD, in association with Pre2Doc Health Center and Anish Kohli, organized a successful seminar on stress management using musical intervention. The workshop included techniques for managing anxiety and stress, meditation, and discussions on using music to resolve stress.
Webinar on Urban Farming: CSD hosted a webinar discussing emerging careers in urban farming. Dr. Anirudh Garg, CEO of the Institute of Urban Farming and Sustainability, shared insights on the benefits and opportunities in urban farming.
Mercedes-Benz Sustainability Dialogue: CSD, in collaboration with Sattva, REACHA, and Mercedes-Benz, participated in a sustainability dialogue focused on sustainable mobility and the transition to a greener future. The event emphasized decarbonization, sustainable business practices, supplier sustainability, and partnerships.
Balancing the Professional and Social Networks: CSD organized an event on effective networking, featuring speakers from HDFC Bank and HashedIN by Deloitte. The speakers shared techniques for networking and personal anecdotes highlighting its importance.
Prerna'22 Case Study Competition: During the Genesis fest of FORE School of Management, CSD organized a case study competition called Prerna'22. The event saw participation from colleges across India, with IIFT Delhi winning the first prize and FORE School of Management securing the runner-up position.
FORE School of Management has been designing, developing and conducting innovative Executive Education (EE)/ Management Development Programmes (MDPs) for working executives in India for over three decades.
