Unmesh - Center for Indian Knowledge Systems
Unmesh – Center for Indian Knowledge System (CIKS) at FORE School of Management promotes the integration of India's traditional knowledge with modern management education. Aligned with NEP 2020, the Center fosters ethical, value-based leadership through academics, research, executive education, and industry engagement.
Objectives of the Center are as follows:
- Integrate Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) into management education through core and elective courses.
- Promote ethical, value-based leadership through executive training, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), lecture series, seminars, and conclaves.
- Encourage research, publications, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic initiatives in IKS.
- Develop certificate programmes and executive education focused on Indian knowledge traditions.
- Create and maintain an e-library and digital repository to preserve and disseminate IKS resources.
- Strengthen experiential learning and industry engagement through heritage visits and outreach programmes.
