PGDM (WP)

Introduction

India's corporate landscape is undergoing its fastest transformation in history — driven by Artificial Intelligence, digital disruption, shifting geopolitical realities, and global supply-chain realignment. Mid-career professionals face an 'expertise ceiling' — the functional skills that built their careers may be insufficient for the senior leadership levels ahead. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Working Professionals) is an 18-month AICTE-approved programme at FSM is architected to break that ceiling. It would deliver a rigorous, future-ready general management education without requiring participants to leave their jobs. The programme is specially designed for employed professionals who seek to significantly advance their careers without stepping away from their current roles.

The classes will be scheduled exclusively during evenings and weekends to enable the full time working employees to upgrade themselves with the future oriented management course. AICTE has made a special provision for working professionals by providing flexibility in timing to conduct theory and practical classes (even beyond office hours) so that they can upgrade their skills and knowledge. This will be treated as regular mode and NOT as an evening program/ part-time.

Having distinguished faculty — 72% certified in the Harvard Case Teaching Method and 70% from IIMs/IITs — combined with state-of-the-art infrastructure including Bloomberg terminals and a GPU-powered AI Lab, FORE School of Management is uniquely positioned to accelerate the career trajectories of India's most ambitious working professionals.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

Pedagogy

The instructional methodology comprises an optimum mix of lectures, classroom discussions, Case Method teaching, group discussions, live industry projects, mentoring sessions with senior industry practitioners, management games, the Capstone project conducted within the participant's own organisation, and an International Immersion Programme at a partner B-school abroad. The programme design integrates AI, data analytics, and digital transformation as core competencies — not standalone electives. Leading industry professionals are involved not only in shaping the curriculum, but in mentoring participants and teaching in the classroom as guest faculty.

Career Tracks

A defining feature of the PGDM (Working Professionals) is its career bouquet architecture. Each track is a curated set of 20 courses across 4 terms, benchmarked against leading global programmes, and tailored to a specific career trajectory. Approximately 50% of the curriculum is common across all bouquets — building a robust general management foundation — while the remaining 50% is bouquet-specific for functional depth.
