Q. What is the admission process for the Two-Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes?

Answer: The admission process of the Two-Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes is as follows:

  • Apply to FSM
  • Take CAT-2023/XAT-2024/GMAT Examination
  • Short-listing of candidates on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT Score
  • Call for the "Selection Process" of Shortlisted Candidates
  • Final selection based on CAT/XAT/GMAT Score, Performance in selection process, academic performance & work experience

Q. What are the criteria for applying to the Two Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes?

Answer: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent recognized by AICTE/UGC/AIU. Candidates must also take the CAT-2023/XAT-2024/GMAT Examination (the GMAT Score should be of a test taken between 1st January 2022 & 31st January 2024).

Q. Can the final year Graduation students apply?

Answer: Yes, candidates appearing in the final year examination of graduation in 2024 can apply subject to furnishing the proof of Graduation by Tuesday, October 01, 2024.

Q. Are the programmes approved by AICTE?

Answer: Yes, all the four programmes are approved by AICTE.

Q. How can one apply to FORE School of Management, New Delhi?

Answer: Candidates can apply ONLINE only. For online application submission candidates need to pay through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking.
Applicants need to pay the application fee as mentioned below.

The above amounts are only applicable if you apply for multiple programmes at the same time in the same application form. In case, you apply for the other one, two or three programmes at a later stage, the full application fee for one, two or three programmes as mentioned in the table will apply.

Q. How are the ‘shortlisted’ and ‘selected’ candidates informed?

Answer: The shortlisted candidates are informed by email and SMS.

Q. Is there any Company Sponsored Category? Does the Company Sponsored Candidate need to send some document?

Answer: Yes, candidates applying under Company Sponsored Category need to download the specified format from website appropriately, fill up, get it signed and send it to the Institute. Candidates can apply either in Self Sponsored Category or Company Sponsored Category. Change in category is not allowed.

Q. Do I need to apply separately for the four programmes?

Answer: If candidate is interested in applying for one, two, three or all four programmes, namely, PGDM, PGDM(IB), PGDM(FM) and PGDM(BDA), he/she can tick the required programmes in the checkboxes provided in the online application form while filling and make the necessary payment together for the programmes.

Q. Do I need to upload/update the CAT scorecard/ score?

Answer: If you have paid/submitted your application form on or before December 30, 2023, then there is no need to upload/update the CAT scorecard /score. We will collect the same from the Nodal IIM.

Q. Do I need to upload/update the XAT scorecard/ score?

Answer: There is no need to upload/update the XAT scorecard /score. We will collect the same from the XLRI.

Q. While applying online, I filled the form for one of the courses before, now I want to apply to the other course also. What should I do?

Answer: You can add one or more programmes directly from your dashboard and also you have to pay the requisite application fee for the programme added at the later stage.

Q. I have not received any confirmation notifying the receipt of my application. What am I supposed to do?

Answer: If you have not received the payment confirmation e-mail, first check your spam/junk folder. If it is not there, you can send an email to admissions@fsm.ac.in stating your CAT Registration No./XAT ID/GMAT ID, FSM Application No. and contact number along with your query and wait for feedback.

Q. Is there any relaxation in cut-off?

Answer: As per AICTE guidelines, there is relaxation in cut-off percentage up to 10% (subject to minimum eligibility requirement) to the wards of Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir Valley to the admission to the PGDM Programmes of the Institute.

Q. Can diploma holders apply for the Two-Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes?

Answer: No.

Q. When is the Selection Process conducted?

Answer: The Selection Process is proposed to be conducted in the month of January, February and/or March. However, if there is a change, the candidate will be informed accordingly.

Q. Where is the Selection Process conducted?

Answer: The Selection Process is proposed to be conducted in New Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ranchi, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Indore, Kochi & Hyderabad. The management reserves the right to cancel any of these venues for the process. However, if there is online selection process, the candidate will be informed accordingly.

Q. What specializations are being offered to the Two-Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes?

Q. Does FSM offer a dual specialization system?

Answer: Yes, dual specialization is offered in PGDM. Dual specialization is also offered in PGDM(IB), PGDM(FM) and PGDM(BDA) in all these three course one of the specialization is as per the course. For Eg. In PGDM(IB) one of the specialization must be IB.

Q. Does FSM provide placement assistance to the students?

Answer: Yes, Placement assistance is provided to the students. A team of students, FORE Career Division (FCD), headed by Dean-Corporate Relations, handles placements activities. FSM's placement record has been excellent since its inception.

Q. Is there any Management Quota?

Answer: No, there is no management quota. Admissions take place strictly on the basis of merit.

Q. Is there any special concession in tuition fees?

Answer: A special concession amounting to a 10% waiver in the TUITION Fee is extended to the students who are domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir and the 8 North-Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim.

Q. Is there any hostel facility available?

Answer: Yes, leased hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls in the vicinity of FORE School of Management, New Delhi.

Q. Does FSM provide assistance to the students for getting education loan from the Banks?

Answer: Yes, FSM facilitates the students getting education loan through some of the leading public sector and private banks of India. Please note that facilitation of the loan is at the discretion of the banks.

Q. Does FSM provide assistance to the students in the form of scholarships?

Q. What is total intake of the PGDM and PGDM(IB) Programmes?

Answer: 180 in Two-Year Full-Time PGDM, 120 in Two-Year Full-Time PGDM(IB), 120 in Two-Year Full-Time PGDM(FM), 60 in Two-Year Full-Time PGDM(BDA) programmes.

Q. What is the difference between PGDM, PGDM(IB), PGDM(FM) and PGDM(BDA)?

Answer: FORE School of Management offers dual specialization to all the students enrolled in its PGDM & PGDM(IB) programmes which means that a student may specialize in at most two Areas. However, for students enrolled in PGDM(IB), one of the specializations must be International Business.
Students enrolled in the Financial Management Programme PGDM(FM) also have dual specialization which means that a student may specialize in at most two Areas. However, for students enrolled in PGDM(FM), one of the specializations must be Finance.
Students enrolled in the Big Data Analytics Programme PGDM(BDA) also have dual specialization which means that a student may specialize in at most two Areas. However, for students enrolled in PGDM(BDA), one of the specializations must be Big Data Analytics.

Q. What are the selection parameters for 2024-26 batch?

Answer: The weightage proposed to be given to different parameters are
CAT/XAT/GMAT score: 35%
Extempore: 5%
Personal Interview: 20%
Past Academic Performance: 20% (Xth - 5%, XIIth-6%, Graduation-8% & student passed out from top 20 NIRF ranked Engineering & Non Engineering Institute-1%)
Work-Ex: 10%
Regional: 5%
Gender Diversity: 5%
