Personality Enhancement Cell (PEC) is a student-driven committee which prepares and grooms students for placement activities. The committee achieves so by organizing various activities and events.
Weekly News Bulletin- The committee prepares weekly news bulletins for all the students in order to keep them updated on current affairs that help in acing the placement processes.
Mock Group discussion - The committee organizes mock group discussions for the current batch of students to help them prepare for their summer as well as final placements. The mock group discussions are conducted in the presence of a faculty member and the participants are provided with essential feedback for improvement.
Mock Personal Interviews - Committee members reach out to college alumni to conduct mock Personal Interviews that help the students acquire better insights about the corporate world and its emerging trends. The participating students are provided with vital tips for better performance, based on the experiences of the alumni.
Newsroom sessions- The members of the committee conduct a newsroom session by making presentations on one national and one international topic for all the students with the objective of providing valuable information and discussion on the same.
Industry Connect- Members of the committee provide an analysis of the latest trends and news related to different sectors such as IT, FMCG, Banking etc. The students are provided with detailed industry analysis reports for each sector. The event also includes senior students sharing their summer internship experience with the juniors.
Mark the talk- It is a series of seminars conducted on personality and attitude development to tap into the dimension of soft skills, under the guidance of the guests invited to the institute
Genesis - The committee conducts its flagship event ‘Guilty as Charged’ at the annual management and cultural fest of FORE School of Management, Genesis, which is a legal mock trial competition hosted at a national level.
