Personality Enhancement Cell (PEC) is a student driven committee with the aim of preparing and grooming the batch for placement related activities. The committee achieves so by organizing various activities and events throughout the year which help students put their best foot forward as they cross the threshold into the corporate world.
PEC organizes events which assist first and second year students to polish their skills and provide them a comprehensive knowledge of the dynamic business environment. All the events are briefly described below.
Group Discussions are organized on a weekly basis for students so that they can prepare themselves and get aware of recent topics where each participant is evaluated individually by the moderator. Mock Interviews are conducted for students, where industry experts help them to gain confidence and prepare them for frequently asked questions asked in an interview.
Newsroom sessions are aimed at imparting valuable information regarding news trends and latest topics in the industry, in discussion conducive environment. Industry Connect is the event that focuses on informing and discussing with the students exactly what is going around in the industry, what are the expected profiles, and the SIP experience. Along with this, seminars are conducted as a part of Mark the Talk on personality and attitude development to tap into the dimension of soft skills. Weekly News Bulletins are floated among the students entailing relevant topics important in the environment on various subjects and fields. Conversations is an informal event which wishes to bring together seniors and the juniors for sharing guidance, mentorship and experiences in their journey at FORE
