FORE Literary Society

FORE Literary Society is a dynamic student-driven initiative that fosters a culture of reading, critical thinking, and creative expression within the FORE community. The society serves as a platform for students to engage with literature not only as an art form but also as a tool for intellectual development, communication, and managerial insight.

The society aims to cultivate a habit of reading and structured thinking among students, bridging the gap between literary appreciation and real-world application. Through a blend of interactive events, discussions, and competitions, it encourages students to explore diverse perspectives, enhance their articulation skills, and develop a deeper understanding of narratives in both literature and business contexts.

By integrating literature with contemporary themes such as leadership, decision-making, and societal issues, the FORE Literary Society strives to create a holistic learning environment that complements academic and professional growth.

Some of the Events the team shall conduct are as follows:

The FORE Literary Society organizes a range of engaging and intellectually stimulating events throughout the academic year. Some of the key initiatives include:

  • LitQuest -The Treasure Hunt – A unique library-based activity where participants solve hidden clues combining literary knowledge with problem-solving and teamwork.
  • BOOK READERS’ CLUB – An interactive platform that promotes reading culture through peer-to-peer book exchange and discussions, fostering knowledge sharing between juniors and seniors.
  • Readathon- The Silent Reading Marathon – A focused reading initiative that promotes mindfulness and deep work, encouraging students to disconnect from distractions and immerse themselves in books.
  • International Literacy Day – An interactive Open Mic forum for slam poetry or 2-minute "Book Pitches", where participants defend their favorite book in teams.
