Programme Introduction:

"AI" is the hype and fad but ubiquitous in our life. Understanding AI is inevitable to sustain in the business competition. AI is complicated, maybe vast or can be described as a black box to many. So domain experience is vital to explain the tech stacks' applications better. The marketing domain is an example of how this AI can change the shape and entire landscape to create a new marketing philosophy. Already Google and Meta(erstwhile Facebook) use AI extensively in marketing. So, it is imperative to know how AI encroaches in marketing and market research to optimize the marketing output and leverage the learning for marketing Management aspirants.

Programme Objective:

"Managers in Marketing need to grasp the AI's mammoth potential by executing their marketing plan". Hence, this thoroughly innovative course further enhances and enriches all participants to understand the ecosystem of the marketing environment for implementing AI in marketing. Furthermore, completing these two sessions would enable all the participants to understand end-to-end AI cases/applications from a management point of view. Moreover, both the sessions will strengthen the concept of marketing aspirants to know how engineers are supported through programming and tech stacks in executing the AI application in Marketing

  3. The direction of AI in market research
  4. Discussion of important cases related to analytics and AI
  5. Is the coding necessary? Solving the cases as Manager
  6. How are engineers solving the problems?
  7. Outro: QA, overall benefit and future

Programme Methodology:

  • This MDP is a case-based short course. Codes will be provided the next day after registration.
  • Understanding python coding will help but is not necessary for introduction.

Program Directors:

Prof. Ashutosh Pandey

Prof. Ashutosh Pandey earned his doctorate in Marketing from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior. He holds a UGC-NET Management qualification and has worked in industry and academics for over nine years. He has taught Postgraduate and Executive students about Business Research Methods, Advanced Marketing Research, Services Marketing, Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, and Structural Equation Modeling. Prof. Pandey has been a resource person for several qualitative and quantitative research workshops hosted at reputed organizations.

Mr.Partha Sen

Mr Partha Sen has 10+ years of experience in the analytics domain. He is now head of ML/AI engineering at Avyay Solutions, USA. An NIT-Surat graduate with a Management degree and IAPP member, Mr Partha Sen worked with Nous, WBEIDC, ATI Motors, EIILM and HSBC Bank. His proud achievements in 2021 were being selected top 50 chatbot designers worldwide by Google DialogFlow, leading AI development, a success story of the client 3M and GCP transformation of the AI pipeline of the KAI product. He is now working to make AI more trustable, customer-centric, and explainable with Vertex AI and blockchain.

Prof. Sankar Mukherjee

Dr Sankar Mukherjee has a wealth of expertise spanning 23 years in sales, marketing, and operations in both industry and academia. He earned a doctorate in digital marketing, focusing on consumer purchase behaviour. Dr Mukherjee has worked with several well-known global companies, including Wipro, IFB, Colgate-Palmolive, Reliance Communication, and Bharti Airtel Ltd. Dr Mukherjee worked in academia for eight years as a research scholar and a Professor of Marketing at GITAM University. His areas of interest include digital marketing, environmental marketing, cause-related marketing, and artificial intelligence in digital marketing. Dr Mukherjee is currently employed at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences as a Professor of Digital Marketing.
