Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM)

1.0 Admission Criteria

FORE School of Management, New Delhi offers Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) approved by AICTE. The objective of this programme is to enhance the body of knowledge in the research domain and its dissemination. It is aimed at admitting scholars with exceptional academic background, strong motivation, discipline, and having a strong inclination towards good quality research.  

EFPM at FORE offers specializations in the following Areas:

• Economics & Business Policy
• Finance & Accounting
• Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource
• International Business
• Information Systems
• Marketing
• Operations Management & Decision Sciences
• Strategy

2.0 Eligibility

The candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE. The degrees of candidates from foreign universities must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Similarly, the PGDM of Indian Institutions must be recognized as equivalent to MBA by AIU and approved by AICTE. The following are the requirements for canditates:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Management/ Engineering and Technology /Economics/ Social Science/ Biological Science/ Pure Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with FIRST CLASS shall be considered for admission to Executive Fellow Programme in Management.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 4 year's of managerial experience

Those appearing for their final examination in their respective discipline can also apply. Such students, if selected, shall be provisionally admitted, provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their Master’s Degree before September 30, 2024. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the marksheet, proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year marksheet is December 31, 2024.

3.0 Age Limit

There is no age restriction.

4.1 Selection Process

• The candidates have to give a presentation (10-15 minutes) on their Tentative Research Proposal in the area of research interest on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
• The candidates will be called for a personal interview for final selection on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 and the selected candidates for this programme will be intimated by Friday, May 24, 2024.
• The Academic Qualification documents and Experience Documents will be verified.
• Any change in the above mentioned dates will be intimated to the candidates separately.
• The decision of the Selection Committee regarding admission shall be final. Communication shall be sent only to the selected candidates. The Institution shall not entertain any queries or correspondence in respect of those not selected.

6.0 Duration for earning Credit (course work)

All the credits specified above shall be earned within a maximum of two year's from the date of admission to the Programme. Extension after the two year's shall be approved by the Director, FSM for a period of one year with a review of progress every six months.

7.0 Time Limit

A Candidate shall submit his/her Thesis only after a minimum period of two year's after registration. However, the maximum period allowed for the submission of the Thesis is five year's from the date of admission to the Programme.

If a scholar fails to submit the thesis within the prescribed upper time limit due to reasons beyond his/her control, he/she shall request the Director, FSM for an extension. If the scholar’s justification is considered satisfactory, the Director, FSM may permit him/her to re-register to the Programme subject to the payment of the re-registration fee. This re-registration shall, however, be effective only for a period of two (02) year's, beyond which no extension shall be permitted.

8.0 Mandatory Campus Visit

Campus visit is mandatory under following situations:

• At the time of joining the programme
• Examination of the courses studied
• Presenting a research seminar
• Thesis proposal Seminar
• Thesis Synopsis seminar
• Thesis Defense
• Viva Voce

9.0 Duration of programme

4 to 7 year's.

10.0 Conduct of classes

Classes will be conducted on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) in physical and in hybrid mode.

11.0 Break or Unauthorized absence from the Programme

Any break, without approval from competent authority or unauthorized absence from the Programme shall lead to the cancellation of admission.

12.0 Fee and Other Expenses for EFPM

The tuition fee will be increased by Rs. 10,000 from third year.

In case, the scholar is not able to submit the thesis in 4 year's then fee will be charged for the next year at the same rate as mentioned above.

The Fee once submitted will not be refunded.

13.0 Grading System of Credit Courses/Seminar

The minimum of CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or 60% is required for passing Course/ Seminar. A candidate getting less than 60% shall be given one more opportunity to repeat the Course/ Seminar. If he/ she still does not pass in the Course/ Seminar, he/ she shall be terminated from the Executive Fellow Programme in Management.

14.0 Provision of “Leave” and “Leave without Pay” for the admitted EFPM Student

EFPM Scholar are entitled for 12 Casual Leaves (one CL per Month)

15.0 How to Apply

15.1 EFPM Application Form

Applicants can fill the online form and make an online payment of Rs. 2500/- (including applicable taxes) at the admission portal. Complete application form together with all relevant documents to be uploaded online on or before Thursday, May 16, 2024.

15.2 Supporting Documents

The supporting documents to be submitted along with the online application form will consist of:

1. Scanned copy of score of the competitive examination to be considered for admission as applicable.
2. Scanned copies of marksheets or transcripts of grades obtained in their qualifying examination.
3. Scanned copies of School certificates and University degrees.
4. Percentage conversion certificate from College/University (In case of CGPA/CPA).
5. Applicants are required to provide two professional references, preferably from individuals who have directly supervised or worked closely with the candidate, including their names, current positions, contact numbers and email addresses.
6. Scanned Copies of Work Experience Certificate (if any).
