Jubilate 2023-24

Jubilate-2023, The Annual Alumni Meet of FORE School of Management took place on December 9, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the India Habitat Centre, Silver Oak Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event brought together enthusiastic alumni, faculty members, and distinguished guests for a day of celebration and connection. A brisk gathering of 300 plus were welcomed with warmth.


The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Dr. Subir Verma, Director of FORE School of Management, Dr. B.B.L Madhukar, Chairman, and Dr. Vinayshil Gautam, Vice Chairman, Professor (Dr.) Rajneesh Chauhan, Dean (Corporate Relations) ,Professor (Dr.) Lokesh Jindal.


A mesmerizing classical dance performance by a talented FOREians added an artistic touch to the event.


Dr. Subir Verma delivered a welcoming address, expressing gratitude for the alumni's presence and highlighting the school's achievements. Dr. B.B.L Madhukar followed with an inspiring inaugural speech, urging alumni to strive for excellence and contribute to their alma mater's growth.


In the resplendent setting of this year's Jubilate, the limelight shone brilliantly on the recognition of its inaugural group, encompassing the distinguished alumni from 1994 to 2003. Dr. Subir Verma, Director, FORE School of Management, felicitated esteemed alumni’s belonging to the "Inaugural Decade," capturing this enchanting moment for posterity through the lens of a captivating group photograph.



In a significant announcement, Mr. Raj P Narayanam, Founder of Zaggle, recipient of Entrepreneurship Award pledged Rs10 crores for FORE Entrepreneurs. He invited matching contributions from the FORE Entrepreneurs community and FORE School of Management to establish a substantial corpus.


Alumni awards were presented to recognize outstanding achievements, accompanied by warm applause from the audience. The recipients were: Mr. Raj P Narayanam, Founder of Zaggle, received the award for Entrepreneurship; Mr. Sanjiv Bajaj, Joint Chairman & MD of Bajaj Capital Ltd., was honored for Executive Leadership; Mr. Vivek Agrawal, CIO of IndiaMart InterMESH Ltd., received recognition for Outstanding Contribution to Alma Mater; Ms. Reema Malhotra, Senior Vice President of People at S&P Global, Partner at SVP India, and Member of the Board of Advisors at Sampark Foundation, was acknowledged as an Influential Women Leader; and Ms. Manya Girdhar, VP at HSBC, was celebrated as the Young Alumni Achiever.



In the closing remarks at the FORE School of Management Alumni Reunion, the Vice Chairman expressed sincere gratitude, thanking attendees for their patient and enthusiastic participation. Reflecting on the essence of FORE, he shared the inspiring journey of Dr. Jitendra Kumar Das, Director General, FORE School of Management (also former Director of FORE School of Management), as a symbol of the institution's values. Delving into FORE's core beliefs, he highlighted its unique philosophy, rooted in the cyclical nature of time in Indian culture. The Vice Chairman emphasized the deep connection between FORE's values and Indian culture, enriching the educational experience. Lastly, he underscored FORE's distinctive management education approach, combining global perspectives with a collaborative ethos. Concluding with pride, the Vice Chairman invited all to reconvene next year, fostering a tradition of reflecting on shared success and growth among the FORE alumni.


Dr. Rajneesh Chauhan, Dean (Corporate Relations), in a gracious gesture, extended his heartfelt appreciation to all those who played a pivotal role in orchestrating the event. With eloquence and sincerity, he acknowledged the collective efforts that made the Alumni Reunion a resounding success. Expressing gratitude to the organizing team, faculty, and attendees, Dr. Chauhan underscored the importance of their contributions in creating a memorable and impactful gathering. His words resonated with genuine gratitude, capping off the event on a note of shared accomplishment and unity among the FORE School of Management community.


An added benefit of the alumni gathering was the opportunity to engage with graduates from various graduating classes. The event served as a nexus, bringing together alumni from diverse professional backgrounds and graduating years. It served as a catalyst for the establishment of new bonds and the reinforcement of existing ones. Not only did alumni exchange valuable industry insights, but they also nurtured enduring connections that extend beyond the confines of the event.



Alumni joyously reunited after three decades, their faces aglow with genuine happiness, filling the air with laughter and animated conversations evoking cherished memories. The reunion showcased enduring friendships that withstood the test of time, creating an atmosphere of jubilation and nostalgia. Overwhelmed with joy, alumni expressed gratitude for the opportunity to reconnect, with Rohit Kapur stating, "Thanks to Dr. Verma and the entire FORE management for the special recognition." Sumeet Prakash echoed the sentiment, expressing anticipation for future interactions, stating, "Grateful to FAN and the faculty at FORE for hosting a superb, well-organized event." Mr. Zia Khan stated, “It was great catching up with the rest of the batch mates some of whom I met after nearly 30 years!!! Thank you FORE Alumni Network.”



The sheer brilliance of the event was widely acknowledged, with heartfelt appreciation extended to Team FAN for orchestrating such a remarkable gathering. Attendees praised the meticulous planning, seamless execution, and attention to detail that made the event unforgettable. Team FAN's dedication and effort were lauded, contributing significantly to the overall success of this extraordinary and memorable occasion. Anticipation is already building for next year's event, with eager attendees eagerly awaiting another opportunity to reunite and celebrate.


The day concluded with a networking cocktail lunch at the Patio & Lawn, providing a vibrant platform for alumni to reconnect, forge new connections, and share experiences. The lively atmosphere and engaging conversations reflected the enduring bond among FORE alumni, marking the Annual Alumni Meet as a resounding success.
