Programme Introduction:

The current global business environment has opened up multiple opportunities for manufacturing companies in India. Manufacturing companies would have to look at transforming their operations to enhance competitiveness for meeting global requirements in terms of cost and consistent quality.
Industry 4.0 can be great enabler for organisations to increase competitive edge and meet customer expectations. Transforming to Industry 4.0 requires thorough understanding of the ecosystem, careful analysis and planning for implementation to achieve desired goals.

Programme Objective:

This program would enable participants from manufacturing organization to understand Industry 4.0, and how the they can strategize and plan for transformation to Industry 4.0. This program aims to enable them to assess the existing stage of their manufacturing operations, and identify requirements for implementation.

  • Industry 4.0 Best Practices
  • Facilitate participants to analyze their manufacturing operations
  • Identify areas for implementation in their own manufacturing operations and develop plans/ identifying specific activities

Programme Methodology:

The program would be Instructor led with interactive sessions in each module. Discussions would involve active participation by all. Case studies would be discussed during the program.

Target Organizations:

All MSMEs (Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises) in manufacturing from different sectors. Startups planning to scale up their business would benefit from this program.

Participants can be managers, executives, engineers and IT professionals in any manufacturing industry who are endeavoring to enhance their competiveness.

Programme Director:

Prof. Rajesh Sikka has extensive industry-wide experience working in leading global companies. He is Ph.D. (Management) from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Masters in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi, B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering, Fellow member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Dr Rajesh Sikka is a practitioner of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Strategic operations across Automobile, ICT, Hi-Tech and Outsourcing/ Offshoring industries. He has successfully driven Digital Transformations, increased profitability and efficiency by optimizing and improving Operations and Supply Chain, strategic acquisitions. After his industry experience, Rajesh has been a visiting Faculty with Management Institutes bringing his expertise and wealth of industry experience into academia. He has been teaching Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Strategy, and has also conducted several Management Development Programs for professionals. He also mentors and coaches Start-ups & budding Entrepreneurs, and provides advise on Intellectual Property related matters.
