Citations and references are essential components of any research. The citations and references also help to prevent plagiarism, and the authors are required to follow set guidelines when submitting their thesis and manuscripts. Incorrect referencing and citations may lead to the rejection of the manuscript, so it is crucial to understand the basics of referencing. Elsevier's Mendeley is a citation management tool that lets you collect citations, organize them, and insert them into documents & format bibliographies. The workshop will provide participants with practical experience using the Mendeley desktop for references and citations of manuscripts.
This program's purpose is to teach participants how to manage references using the Mendeley database software.
After completion of the faculty development program, an e-certificate will be provided to participants.
Participants in this workshop will obtain extensive hands-on experience with Mendeley Desktop in an ONLINE environment. The discussion of concepts will be followed by practice sessions.
