Dr. Aakanksha Kishore is working as an Assistant Professor in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management at FORE School of Management, New Delhi. She obtained her doctorate in Inventory Management from the Department of Operational Research, University of Delhi. She also completed her Master’s degree in Operational Research from Hindu College and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Honours) from Sri Venkateswara College, both affiliated with University of Delhi. She is an academician and researcher with expertise in Operations Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, and Sustainability. She has published numerous research papers indexed in ABDC/ SCI/ SCIE/ SCOPUS (Q1) viz. Business, Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Expert Systems with Applications, Journal of Modelling in Management, Process Integration and Optimization for Sustainability, and many more with research contributions in inventory modelling, imperfect production systems, trade credit policies, and supply chain optimization. She has also served as an editor for international books focusing on sustainable logistics and the impact of Industry 4.0 on supply chain management.
Dr. Kishore has actively participated in several international conferences and faculty development programs in the areas of business management, research methodology, and data analytics. Her academic accomplishments include prestigious recognitions such as the Young Scientist Award, Distinguished Faculty Award, and multiple Best Paper Presentation Awards.
She holds a certification from Harvard Business School in “Teaching with Cases”. Her core areas of specialization include quantitative techniques, business statistics, mathematical modelling, sustainability, and operations research.
