Dr. Nitika Arneja is an Assistant Professor in the International Business Area at the FORE School of Management (FSM). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, and has completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for WTO Studies, New Delhi (affiliated with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade), where she developed an early interest in policy-relevant research.
Her research lies within the International Business domain, examining internationalization, global value chains, and cross-border activities through firm-level data and applied econometric methods. She has published in leading journals such as Energy Economics, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, among others. She has also presented her work at prominent academic forums, including the Royal Economic Society PhD Conference (University of Portsmouth, UK), the Econometric Society Winter School (Delhi School of Economics), and conferences at IIFT Kolkata, ISID Delhi, JNU, and IRMA.
