Brief description of Experience

Prof. Sayan Chowdhury is an Assistant Professor in the Operations Management & Decision Sciences (OM & DS) area at the FORE School of Management (FSM). He earned his PhD in Production and Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. His research focuses on how organizations can adopt sustainable business practices while maintaining profitability. Prior to joining FSM, he gained experience in both corporate and academic settings. Prof. Chowdhury has presented his research at prestigious national and international conferences and has published in leading academic journals. His current research interests include emerging business models and sustainable supply chains driven by new technologies. Outside of academia, he enjoys reading, attending theatre performances, and playing the guitar.
