Placement Ranking - As per NIRF Ranking

FORE School of Management, New Delhi among top 25 private B-Schools in NIRF rankings recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. In the recently released India Rankings 2018, FORE School of Management, New Delhi is ranked 17th among the top 25 private B-Schools in the country. Having performed remarkably well in several other criteria for management learning, FORE School of Management continues to hold its place among premier management institutes in India.

NIRF considers various parameters to rank B-Schools in the country. The ranking is prestigious, given the support of government bodies. Regarded as objective and comprehensive, B-Schools look at the ranking as a mark of honour and distinction. FORE School of Management is proud to be ranked 16th for Teaching and Learning Resources (TLR) among all B-Schools. TLR takes into account - Combined metric for Publications (PU), Combined metric for Quality of Publications (QP), IPR and Patents: Filed, Published, Granted and Licensed (IPR), Footprint of Projects and Professional Practice And Executive Development Programmes (FPPP). Placed above IIM-I, SPJIMR, IMI, and IIFT in this particular category, the ranking recognizes the B-School’s focus on making world-class learning resources, including research material, available to students. The experienced pool of faculty members, who bring their vast industry and academic expertise to mentor students, is another reason why the institute has done exceptionally well in this category. Out of 38 faculty members, 34 hold doctoral degrees.

On the whole, FORE School of Management is ranked 37th among management institutes in the country. Graduation Outcome (GO) is another crucial factor that takes into account - Combined % for Placement, Higher Studies, and Entrepreneurship (GPHE), Metric for University Examinations: GUE, Median Salary, Metric for Graduating Students Admitted Into Top Universities (GTOP), Metric for Number of Ph.D. Students Graduated GPHD.  Based on GO score, FORE School securing the 29th position, above IMI, IIFT, and the IITs, bears testimony to the fact that graduates from the B-School are sought-after recruits across industries. The report reveals that 165 students from the institute got recruited through placements during 2016–17 at a median salary of INR 9, 20,000.

The new graduates add to the growing alumni, who continue to shine in their chosen domains. Students from yesteryears often emphasize their alma mater’s efforts at ensuring all-round exposure, which enabled them to take on challenges in research and academics or the corporate world. The rise in FORE School of Management’s sponsored research and consultancy projects, as revealed in the rankings data, demonstrates the institute’s commitment to academic excellence. For students aspiring to join the B-School, that is indeed welcome news.
