Profile: Vice President and Team Head - INDmoney
FMS Achiever Alumni from the PGDM Batch 2011-13
1. Describe your career journey and your current role.
Since my graduation from FORE, I have built my career around financial services and wealth management in particular. I have worked with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank before joining INDmoney as Assistant Vice President in 2018. Currently, I am Vice President at INDmoney, which is a one-stop SuperMoneyApp for all finances. The app automatically organizes customers’ finances, helps them to plan their goals, and uses machine learning to help them save and invest at zero commissions.
2. What are some of your key achievements in your illustrious career journey?
I have had the good fortune to build my credentials with marquee organizations like Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank in wealth management, which is a key service group for both these giants. This has given me a lot of insight into financial products, regulations, and people’s behavior in saving and investing.
3. Describe your FORE journey. What made you choose the institution and how did it fulfill your learning aspirations?
I joined FORE right after my graduation from Delhi University in 2011. I had been researching B-schools in Delhi NCR and found FORE to be the ideal choice given my academic and career objectives. I was impressed by their long track record in management education and the kind of placement track record they had.
4. A message or a success mantra that you would like to give to your juniors.
Value people skills alongside any other technical skills that you are looking to develop for your career. No matter what your role or position, people skills get you ahead. I had an opportunity for this at FORE and so will you – make the most of it. Keep learning and growing. Though it's a very cliche statement but I think it's very important in your career. All the best
