FORE Pictures Club

FORE Pitchers Club (FPC) — Empowering Voices. Shaping Leaders.

FORE Pitchers Club (FPC) is the official Public Speaking Club of FORE School of Management, dedicated to fostering confident communicators, persuasive speakers, and future leaders. As a student-led initiative, FPC provides a dynamic platform where individuals can develop the ability to articulate ideas with clarity, conviction, and impact.

At FPC, we believe that effective communication is the cornerstone of personal and professional success. Our mission is to empower students to overcome stage fear, build self-confidence, enhance critical thinking, and develop the leadership presence required to excel in today's competitive world.

Through a culture of continuous learning, constructive feedback, and peer support, FPC creates an environment where every member is encouraged to challenge themselves, unlock their potential, and become a more influential communicator.

Our Vision: To create confidence, articulate, and influential leaders who can communicate ideas with purpose, inspire change, and make a meaningful impact in their organizations and society.

How Our Meetings Work:

FPC conducts structured 90-minute sessions designed to provide participants with practical speaking experience and measurable growth opportunities. Each meeting consists of three key segments:

  • Prepared Speeches - : Participants deliver well-researched and carefully structured speeches ranging from 5 to 7 minutes. This segment helps participants strengthen content development, presentation skills, storytelling techniques, and audience engagement.
  • Impromptu Speaking - : Participants are presented with spontaneous topics and challenged to deliver a 1 to 2-minute speech with minimal preparation. This activity sharpens quick thinking, adaptability, confidence, and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
  • Evaluations & Recognition - : Growth is accelerated through meaningful feedback. Dedicated Speech Reviewers and the Observer-in-Chief provide detailed evaluations, highlighting strengths and offering actionable recommendations for improvement. Outstanding performers are recognized and celebrated, reinforcing a culture of excellence and achievement.

Leadership Through Responsibility:

Public speaking is only one aspect of personal development. FPC offers members opportunities to cultivate leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills by taking on key meeting responsibilities, including:

  • Pitcher of the Day (Host) - : Leads the session, introduces the theme, and drives audience engagement.
  • Meeting Marshal & Session Chair - : Ensure seamless execution of the agenda and effective meeting management.
  • Time Manager & Filler-Word Tracker - : Promote disciplined communication by monitoring speaking time and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Language Evaluator & Impromptu Master - : Enhance linguistic proficiency, vocabulary, and spontaneous speaking capabilities.

By assuming these roles, members develop professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the stage.

Seminars & Signature Events:

FPC's impact extends beyond regular meetings through a range of high-value learning experiences and flagship initiatives.

  • Industry Seminars - : The club will regularly host distinguished industry leaders, communication experts, and corporate professionals who share practical insights on public speaking, leadership, executive presence, and workplace communication. These sessions bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
  • YUVA Parliament – Annual Flagship Event - : YUVA Parliament is the flagship event of FORE Pitchers Club and one of the most anticipated student-led platforms at FORE School of Management. Designed to simulate the functioning of a parliamentary environment, the event brings together aspiring leaders to debate, deliberate, negotiate, and defend their perspectives on contemporary issues. The event serves as a powerful platform for participants to demonstrate critical thinking, persuasive communication, policy analysis, and leadership under pressure, preparing them to become confident decision-makers and responsible leaders of tomorrow.

At FORE Pitchers Club, every speech is a step toward confidence, every evaluation is a pathway to growth, and every member is empowered to lead.
