Trainers Profile

Mr. S. K. Gupta

Mr Gupta started his career by serving reputed Indian manufacturing organizations (s), initially started his career with Modi Spg. & Wvg. Mills, Modinagar, and thereafter, transferred to Modi Rubber (Modi Continental), Meerut (UP). After resigning from the Modi Group, further joined JK Industries (Tyres Division). He had served with both Groups (Modi & JK) in the capacity of the Personnel Manager, Chief-HR & HR Head, where he dealt with personnel, Industrial Relations, and Legal for about 24 years.

On the inspiration of Mr. H. L. Kumar, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, as well as the Chief Editor, Labour Law Reporter (popularly known as LLR), Mr. Gupta left his private sector job in 2003 and started his own practice in the area of Labour Laws and service matters. Since then, he has been practicing in the Supreme Court, High Court(s), Central Government Industrial Tribunal, Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai & Chandigarh, and various District Courts.

Apart from this, he has also been giving expert guidance and legal opinion to various establishments (s) /companies on issues related to the Employees’ Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, Employees' State Insurance Act,1948, Services matter, Constitutional matters, and labour laws, etc. His opinion has helped various companies in restructuring and streamlining the Employees’ Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952’s compliance, ESI Compliance, and Labour Laws compliance, etc.
