Dr. Gaurav Kabra is a faculty member with a diverse background in Information Technology and Supply Chain Management. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), specializing in the interconnected fields of information technology and supply chain management. He holds a five-year integrated B.Tech in Information Technology and an MBA from the ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior (ABV-IIITM Gwalior).

Brief description of Experience

Dr. Gaurav Kabra is a faculty member with a diverse background in Information Technology and Supply Chain Management. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), specializing in the interconnected fields of information technology and supply chain management. He holds a five-year integrated B.Tech in Information Technology and an MBA from the ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior (ABV-IIITM Gwalior). Dr. Kabra has made significant contributions to the academic community, earning recognition on numerous occasions. The Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society International honored him with the Global Supply Chain and Logistics Award in 2023 for his teaching and research in the field. Dr. Kabra is globally known as a leading researcher in the area of digital technology in humanitarian supply chain management. Dr. Kabra also mentored several students who have won the Best Summer Project Awards.

Beyond his academic work, Dr. Kabra actively works on several sponsored projects that are delivering tangible benefits for society. He firmly believes that research achieves its true purpose when the results benefit the community. His achievements include the “Highly Commended Paper Award” from the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence in 2016 and the “Best Paper” award at various international conferences, including the 2019 International Conference of the Society of Operations Management. In 2019, he was acknowledged as one of the top seven researchers in humanitarian supply chain management, showcasing his commitment to addressing critical global issues. Dr. Kabra's research is featured in reputable national and international journals that are indexed by Scopus, WoS, ABDC, and ABS, including Production Planning and Control, Enterprise Information Systems, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, American Journal of Business, International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, Telematics and Informatics, and Neural Computing and Applications.
