Prof. Nazia Gera is currently an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Area at the FORE School of Management (FSM). Before joining FSM, she worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. She currently serves as Chair, Social Media and Digital Outreach at FSM, contributing to the institute's digital strategy, outreach, online positioning, and reputation management. She is a keen researcher; her work has been published in ABDC A* and ABDC A Journals.
Prof. Gera has presented her research at prominent national and international conferences, including the Academy of Management (AOM), Association for Consumer Research (ACR), European Marketing Academy (EMAC), Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), and Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC). She was selected among 20 marketing scholars globally for the ACR Sheth Foundation Scholarship to attend and present her research at ACR 2024 in Paris. Her research has also received Best Paper Awards at IIM Lucknow in 2026 and IIM Kashipur in 2023.
Prof. Gera actively contributes to the academic community as an Editorial Review Board Member of the Journal of Global Marketing and serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals, including the Journal of Consumer Psychology (UTD, FT 50, ABDC A*) and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (FT 50 and ABDC A*). She has also served as a resource person in faculty development programmes, executive education programmes, and research methodology workshops, with sessions on experimental research, research design and data analysis, AI adoption, and AI-enabled applications.
