As many business practitioners will attest, strategy tools can be very useful in helping managers analyze, choose and implement an organizational strategy. Managers have several management tools at their disposal to help meet their challenges. Among these are tools for dealing with a strategy analysis, choice, and implementation. The challenge for managers is to understand which of these tools to use, how many to use, and when to use them. Research also shows that the use of a greater variety of strategy tools is linked to increased education, training, career progression, and more significant work experience.

Prof. Anil Kumar Singh is a Ph.D. in Management, with his thesis focusing on Drivers of Competitive Advantage in the Indian Pharmaceutical sector. He has to his credit two edited books and 16 Publications in various national and international Journals. He has spent around 7 years in Pharmaceuticals and flexible packaging in marketing, general management and operations domain. He has been into teaching, MDPs and consulting for more than 20 years. His areas of interest are Competitive Intelligence, Dynamic capabilities; strategic change; Business models and competitive advantage; Economics of strategy.
Prof. Vinod Thakur has more than nine years of industry experience spanning across India, Middle East, and Africa. He has been associated with firms such as KPMG, EY, Protiviti, and Genpact to assist clients through various consulting assignments on business risk management, strategic transformation, and process efficiency. As an academician, he has collaborated with several companies across different sectors to write case studies to highlight business dilemmas. His research work has been published in reputed international journals. His areas of interest include business growth strategy, strategic renewal, and internationalization of firms.
