Over the last decades, innovation and creativity have become critical skills for achieving success in business. New ideas and new thinking are today's currency and are required to tackle the increasing complexities in the workplace. The need for creative problem solving has arisen as more and more management problems require creative insights in order to find suitable solutions. Stimulating creativity and exploring completely new and unknown before territories lead as result to increasing the productivity of the organisation. Encouraging the employees to think outside of the box and giving them time and resources to explore new areas for innovative ideas is the key to cost-effective business solutions.
Successful organizations are constantly trying to reinvent themselves and people across the organization need to be involved in the process of innovation. Creativity and innovation emerge as the core of all competencies within an organization, operating as the driving forces behind anything that is better or new and ensuring that organizations respond proactively to diverse pressures in order to maintain their competitive positions. But to make an organization truly innovative it needs to encourage divergent thinking; change the mindset of its people as well as create an organizational culture.
This course will help participants develop creative and innovative abilities at the personal level and create an organizational climate which can add to creativity and innovation.
The training will be interactive and experiential in nature. The programme will use a “learning by doing” approach along with structured exercises to meet the course objectives. A judicious mix of case studies, simulations, group work, exercises and audio-visuals will be used to impart and learn key concepts. Participants would be encouraged to prepare individual action plans to facilitate transfer of their learning to the workplace.
Both Public and Private Sectors
The programme has been designed across managerial level executives in large public and private sector organizations, MNCs, banks, financial institutions and other organizations/institutions.
