As a part of the course on ‘Social Enterprises and Sustainable Development in Emerging Economies’, the students of FORE School of Management (FSM) visited the Nigeria High Commission, New Delhi on October 11, 2023. H.E. Mr. Ahmed Sule, the High Commissioner of Nigeria in India welcomed and addressed the students and faculty on the landscape of Social Enterprises in India. He presented an account of many cultural and business environment similarities between Nigeria and India.  During his presentation, he talked about the bilateral trade relations between both countries and investment opportunities for business and social entrepreneurs.  During discussions with the students the Nigerian High Commission team also discussed various models of social projects in sectors like public health, water, sanitation and hygiene, women empowerment, etc. in Nigeria. Course Instructor, Prof. Shallini Taneja thanked H.E. Mr. Ahmed Sule and Nigeria High Commission, New Delhi for giving an opportunity to FSM students to learn about the Nigerian economy and its efforts towards SDGs.
