Quitterie Alphand

  • Quitterie Alphand

QuitterieAlphand knew that she wanted to experience all that the world had to offer. As a student at ESC Rennes School of Business in France, Quitterie traveled for two months to discover countries such as Nepal, Thailand and Laos.It was at this point that she began to think about attending an exchange program.

The 24-year old student from France decided to enroll in the FORE Student Exchange Program. “The exchange program was my first experience as a student in a foreign country. After a lot of discussion with Indian students in France and with the testimony of French students in the FORE program, I decided to discover the school. I knew that FORE had a good reputation and atmosphere.”

Once at FORESchool of Management, New Delhi, Quitterie discovered that she had made the right choice. “I wanted to discover India because I was curious about the history, culture and landscape. It was so different than France, but it’s so beautiful. It was such an unforgettable experience! Everyone was so nice to us, and it was so easy to discuss experiences and topics with the students. We learned so much about your culture and food. The cafeteria was a good place to discuss things with everyone. Additionally, we were given excellent advice on places to visit.”

Quitterie also learned that FORE School of Management, New Delhi offered a learning experience that differed greatly from what she was used to in France. “We don’t have the same methods of study in France. At FORESchool of Management it was very pleasant because the teachers offered us a lot of possibilities to express ourselves. We played in a theater scene, for instance, in our ELC classes, and we were often allowed to express our ideas. It proved to be interesting because we could compare French and Indian visions, which was important for our future if we want to work for an international company. FORE School of Management helped us to understand the point-of-view of everyone.”
