Programme Introduction
Today, the business environment is facing uncertainty and disruptions due to the impact of geopolitical volatility across the globe. It is imperative that businesses—whether big (MNEs) or small (SMEs)—need to identify and assess such geopolitical risks for formulating new business models or making suitable strategic interventions. Such an understanding will help future managers in improved decision-making, developing a geopolitically correct business model, and in helping enhance national participation in the global value chains. With this intent, FORE School of Management is organising a Faculty Development Program (FDP) to enhance knowledge sharing, research preparedness, and industry-oriented curriculum development for management students. This program would help the faculty members in analysing geopolitical issues and risks in the global environment and disseminating it to the students for improved managerial preparedness. This FDP will also help faculty members explore newer cross-cutting areas for academic publications.
