Alumni Speak 2025-26

New Delhi Campus | July 24, 2025

The FORE Alumni Network (FAN) successfully hosted Alumni Speak 2025 on Thursday, 24th July 2025, at the Virajam Auditorium, FORE School of Management, New Delhi.


The event featured Mr. Sumit Malhotra, Chief of Staff at Iron Pillar and an esteemed alumnus from the Class of 2002, who addressed an audience of over 190 students on the theme “Lessons in Global Business: Leadership, Adaptability, and Growth Across Industries.” Mr. Malhotra, with more than two decades of global experience spanning venture capital, fintech, and private banking, shared valuable insights on leadership, perseverance, and professional growth. Through engaging anecdotes from his diverse career across India and the Middle East, he highlighted the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and building strong professional relationships.




The session offered students a practical understanding of real-world business dynamics, motivating them to seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and cultivate networks that support lifelong success.



The FORE Alumni Network expresses sincere gratitude to Mr. Malhotra for his inspiring session and continued contribution to the FORE community. The event once again reflected FORE’s commitment to fostering meaningful connections between alumni and students.



New Delhi Campus | August 29, 2025

The FORE Alumni Network (FAN) organized Alumni Speak 2025 on Friday, 29th August 2025, at Vivekananda Pragya Hall, Delhi. The event featured Mr. Achal Arora,


Operating Partner at Macquarie Asset Management and alumnus of the Class of 2007, who addressed 124 attendees on the theme “Experiences & Learnings from a Global Career in Corporate Finance.”

With extensive international experience in investment banking and corporate finance, Mr. Arora shared insights from his professional journey spanning multiple geographies. He emphasized the importance of “hunger and desperation” as key drivers of success, encouraging students to pursue unconventional paths and remain adaptable in an evolving financial landscape.



Mr. Arora discussed emerging trends in finance, highlighting the transformative role of technology and artificial intelligence in redefining business operations and investment strategies. Drawing from his decade-long experience in investment banking, he offered students a clear understanding of various career roles and global opportunities within the finance domain.

An engaging Q&A session followed, where Mr. Arora addressed questions on private assets, equity, and global work cultures. He shared candid reflections on international career experiences, stressing that while cultural awareness is valuable, perseverance and hard work remain the ultimate differentiators of success.



He concluded the session with an inspiring message: “Stay focused but keep your mind open to accepting new things.” His practical insights and motivational words left students with a deeper appreciation for global finance and the mindset required to excel in it. Gurugram Campus | September 20, 2025

The FORE Alumni Network (FAN) organized Alumni Speak 2025 on Saturday, 20th September 2025, at the FSM Auditorium, Gurugram. The event featured Ms. Tarika Chopra, Global Employee Relations Senior Manager at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and an alumna of the Class of 2009. Addressing 134 attendees, Ms. Chopra shared her insights on “Preparing for Future Skills: What MBA Graduates Should Focus on in Dynamic Industries.”


With over 16 years of experience in global human resources, Ms. Chopra offered a compelling perspective on leadership evolution, the rise of technology, and the importance of human-centered management. She emphasized that modern leaders must combine empathy, adaptability, and digital fluency to succeed in rapidly changing workplaces. Highlighting trends such as hybrid work, AI integration, and shifting global dynamics, she urged students to embrace agility and maintain a continuous learning mindset.



The session also focused on personal development, encouraging students to cultivate resilience, discipline, and strong professional networks. Ms. Chopra advised future managers to remain proactive, accountable, and open to new challenges, reinforcing that success lies in balancing strategic awareness with a human touch.



The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, leaving students inspired to evolve as purpose-driven professionals and future-ready leaders.
