FORE Alumni Chapter Meet – Hyderabad 2024

The FORE Alumni Network hosted the Hyderabad Chapter Meet on 1st September 2024 at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Banjara Hills. The event brought together 30 esteemed alumni,

faculty members, and leadership of the FORE School of Management, providing a vibrant platform to reconnect, exchange insights, and celebrate achievements.

The meet commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Subir Verma, Director – FORE School of Management, who highlighted the vital role of alumni gatherings in fostering a united community and strengthening ties with the alma mater. He emphasized how such interactions contribute to professional collaboration and continued engagement with FORE.


This was followed by Prof. Anita Tripathy Lal, Chair of the FORE Alumni Network, who thanked the alumni for their presence and support. Her address underscored the value of alumni participation in advancing the goals of the FORE community and encouraged active involvement in future initiatives.

Adding to the discussions, Prof. Shilpi Jain, Dean of Corporate Relations, delivered an insightful speech on the importance of meaningful alumni interactions and collaboration, urging members to contribute towards building a stronger alumni network.

A highlight of the evening was the felicitation of distinguished alumni, who shared their career stories and reflected on the lasting influence of FORE in their professional journeys. The recognition segment was followed by interactive discussions on strategies to enhance alumni involvement, support students, and contribute to the institution’s long-term growth.

The event also included the appointment of new chapter members for Hyderabad, ensuring continuity of leadership and collective commitment to the chapter’s progress.

The FORE Alumni Network organized the Bengaluru Chapter Meet on 31st August 2024 at the Radisson Blu, Bengaluru. The event brought together distinguished alumni, faculty members, and the leadership team of FORE School of Management to reconnect, celebrate achievements, and strengthen the bonds within the FORE community.

The evening commenced with an inspiring welcome address by Dr. Subir Verma, Director – FORE School of Management, who emphasized the importance of alumni chapter meets in building lasting relationships and fostering a connected FORE community. His remarks set a strong foundation for the evening, highlighting the significance of alumni engagement in sustaining FORE’s growth.

The FORE Alumni Network hosted the Mumbai Chapter Meet on 24th August 2024 at the Radisson Blu, Andheri, Mumbai. The prestigious event brought together a distinguished assembly of alumni, faculty members, and leadership from FORE School of Management. It provided a meaningful platform to reinforce the FORE community’s ties, celebrate achievements, and encourage greater collaboration among alumni.

The evening began with a motivating welcome address by Dr. Subir Verma, Director – FORE School of Management, who extended heartfelt appreciation to the alumni for their continued connection with the institution. The FORE School of Management's Mumbai Alumni Chapter Meet was successfully conducted on October 31, 2025, at Radisson Blu. Attended by over 45 alumni, the gathering marked an important milestone in strengthening the FORE Alumni Network. With a growing base of successful alumni across geographies, the event served as a platform for collaboration, networking, and strategic foresight for future engagement.

Director’s Address:

The event commenced with an inspiring address by Dr. Subir Verma, Director of FORE School of Management. He extended a warm welcome and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the alumni's continued association with FORE. Dr. Verma emphasized the critical role alumni play in shaping the institution's global reputation, calling for deeper collaboration through knowledge exchange. He then acknowledged and validated the primary objective of prospective students, stating his firm conviction that students seek not merely education, but the clear expectation of acquiring "good employment skills" and securing "continuous placements." This sets a tone for a career-focused and pragmatic collaboration with the alumni network.

1. Reflections and Nostalgia:

Mr. Prashant Gagneja fondly reminisced about his student days, sharing a light-hearted memory of how he and his tall friends preferred the last bench since sitting in front of them wasn’t quite an option for them. After Chawla Sir finished taking attendance, the professor would often smile and say, “Ab tum jaao,” letting them leave early, a moment that still brings a chuckle to his face.

2. ‘Then & Now’ Game – A Walk Down Memory Lane:

Alumni enthusiastically took part in a fun ‘Then and Now’ game, identifying familiar spots from their FORE days as they appear today. The activity evoked nostalgia and surprise at the changes over time, with many expressing a desire to visit the campus again soon and relive those fond memories.

3. Strengthened Alumni Engagement:

The chapter meet emphasized the importance of fostering stronger alumni connections through regular interactions, collaborative initiatives, and networking opportunities. Alumni expressed enthusiasm for mentoring students, supporting placements, and contributing to institutional growth reinforcing the spirit of lifelong association with FORE.

4. Planning the Next Meet:

The session concluded with discussions on organizing the next alumni meet, focusing on greater participation and wider outreach. Members proposed rotating venues across regions to engage more alumni and ensure continued enthusiasm, collaboration, and the strengthening of the FORE alumni network.
